Melanin Makeup in Deathcare - Creating Recognition

On Sunday, May 17th from 1:00–2:00 PM (ET), I’ll be teaching a live session on Melanin Makeup in deathcare, but we are going deeper than technique.

We’re going to talk about:

  • What cosmetics actually mean in this work
  • How to create familiarity instead of correction
  • The cultural and historical significance of cosmetics in communities of color
  • And how to approach the face as memory, not just something to fix

This is a more intentional, more aware way of working.

If you’ve ever felt unsure…
If you’ve ever second-guessed your work…
If you want to feel more grounded and confident in what you’re doing ... I want you in the room.

✨ Sunday, May 17th
✨ 1:00–2:00 PM (ET)
✨ Recording available

This is a deeper, more sensory journey into the work.
